What You Should Do When Life Hits You Down

If you've been down and depressed because you've been hit down by life, then know this; YOU'VE BEEN DOING THE WRONG THING.

A friend once told me a story about a certain man. This man kept on bouncing a ball and each time he bounced the ball, he wanted the ball to stay down. As this man continued to bounce the ball, he noticed that the ball would never stay down despite his efforts. This stirred up the anger in him and he bounced the ball one more time with all the energy he had left, thinking that would make the ball stay down, but the ball went up again. It went up so high that gravity couldn't bring it down anymore.

Life has an intention to keep you down by throwing challenges and obstacles your way every time. Life tries to make you think that there is no room for flying.
Each time life gives us a bounce to the ground, it expects us to stay down and never come up just like the man expected the ball not to come up.

Most people wish for a smooth life; a life without challenges and bad times. But think about it one more time, what if the man in our story never bounced the ball???
Obviously, the ball would have remained on the ground because there was no force to make it go up.
What if life never bounced you against the ground?
What if life never threw challenges at you?
You would have remained on the ground just like the ball that was never bounced.

These challenges and difficulties that life throw at us makes us stronger. They make us realize our potentials.
The next time you bounce down to the floor, always remember that you've got the ability to fly high.

Anytime you feel depressed, anytime you feel so down, anytime you feel like you've got nothing to live for, anytime you feel like quitting, remember that you're not meant to be on the floor. You're meant to rise higher than you ever did.
