What You Should Understand About Vision

Many of us might have an idea of what vision is about. In this context, we're not talking about vision as the dream we had.
We are talking about vision as purpose of life.

Vision means to see - To see ahead.
It is the ability of having pre-knowledge of an upcoming event.
When God created Adam, he had a reason for it and an assignment for him to carry out. He was to dress the garden and keep it.  Adam was the king of Eden.
Just like God had plans for Adam's life on earth, he also has plans for every man on earth today, particularly the believers.

It is important to note that God is a God of plan and purpose.
All through the Scriptures, we see God's plans unfold to His people.
God has predestined us. We are are not creatures of chance but of destiny.
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

It is very important for you to understand that you are born to fulfil a particular course and a discovery of that course called vision.

Vision, therefore, can be defined as the unfolding of a divine plan as it relates to a group, a nation or an individual.

Vision is having divine insight into God's plan for you.

Every Believer has a peculiar plan and function which has been assigned to him before he was born. (Jeremiah 1:5)

The pursuit of vision is called ministry which means no vision, no ministry.
When there is no vision there will be no mission.
Vision uncovers the purpose for your life.

Only visionaries become great in the kingdom; Locate your function and begin to manifest in it.
Know this No vision is of low status, every calling is a high calling, every calling culminates in glory.

We're all member/part of one body (Christ) and each member/part of this body has a peculiar role to play.
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

As a member of the body, God expects you to carry out your function. You are a steward of a peculiar function. Ministry is stewardship. Ministry is not limited to the pulpit. Ministry is occupying your position as assigned by God.

Callings and elections are not limited to preaching. You have a function. You have a divine assignment. A discovery of this function is what is called vision.
God expects you to carry out your function in the kingdom. God has called you to make a difference in a particular area, sector or place. No man is born without a purpose. Purpose gives meaning to life and you can only discover purpose when you've understood your placement (vision).

The earlier you seek and understand, the better for you. So many people have lived their lives in regret just because of this simple reason. They struggled through life, yet they got nothing.

You never become a star until you operate within the scope of God's plan for your life.
Remember that God gives every man his vision because He is the master planner. No man gives himself a vision, else, it is ambition.
